See What's Drying in the Darkroom
We just finished an engagement shoot at Turtle Creek for Sean and Mackenzie, a lovely young couple from Dallas. The day started out wet and gloomy, but the sun peeked out just in time for some great natural lighting.

Choosing the best Dallas Wedding Photographer
It's your big day. You've been planning for months to find just the right dress, the most beautiful cake, and the best reception spot in Dallas. Wedding photography (and the perfect wedding photographer) is the key element that will preserve your dreams of this special day for eternity.
Here are some tips on how to get the most from your wedding photographer:
- Determine the budget you have allotted for your wedding photographer in advance.
- Set up an appointment to meet your Dallas wedding photographer face to face to make sure you feel comfortable with him and his staff.
- Look for expertise and experience. Don't be afraid to ask your photographer how many weddings he has photographed.
- Ask questions! Be sure you have a clear understanding of the wedding photographer's contract. Get answers to important questions such as: Will you provide a CD of images? Who will be present from the photographer's staff on the day of our wedding? Can you provide a wedding album as part of the package?
- Location, location, location! If you have a wedding reception spot picked out in the Dallas area, see if your wedding photographer can meet you at the location before the wedding to go over your expectations and scope out the best areas for photo opportunities.
- Get referrals. Ask for a list of past clients who would be willing to give you an honest opinion their experience and can tell you if they were pleased with their wedding photography.
